Adding your phone number is mandatory when creating your Buddies account, for security reasons. It also enables us to suggest friends you already have in your contacts and who also use the application. Your number is never made public, never used to send you advertising communications, and never shared with other companies. It's used strictly for security reasons and to help you find your friends more easily.

If you can't get past the phone number stage, it's because your number is already linked to a previously created account.
